@Admin pls ask the seller, i believe he is the original author as per acquisition price, a video to demo how the product works and what parameters for user configuration under the current implementation.

pls also confirm this is not a reseller

 

Why don't we buy directly from author? The author site says the code is not compiled anyway. There's nothing to unlock as such.

These secondary authors are unreliable. Can you share the details of the reseller ao we can at least judge from their track records?

 

@Admin it is stated in your product link that all are open source code.
1. could you contact the author to confirm that user can modify codes and instructions on how to compile the codes are given
2. contact the reseller, asking for a lower price as $400 is the original price. I think max $100 is reasonable. if reseller says $400, ask what value he adds to get the original price. we need only to be fair

could anyone help to check with author what kind of restriction the product has?

 

OK so I reached out to the vendor. All the code, that is python and ninja data feeder are open source in the package. There's no need for reseller unless reseller offers low price. Also can we trust the reseller?

@Admin, can we negotiate a better price with the reseller? afterall, the reseller will have the ability to access support and generate $ from it.

or any CBer wants to take up the reseller role and offer to us, say, $200, to lower your cost?

 

If you ask me. We should not buy from the reseller, its quite obvious that the reseller is disingenuous about everything being open (no need for unlocking at all), and by asking for full price.

If we buy from author at least we have a window to ask for support / guide material etc.

 

Again it's just my opinion and I will go with whatever admin decides.

You are mixing up different vendors and different products.
