    Try it on demo atiq :p Anyhow, I don't think the ea or its settings is obsolete, its the same ol scalping technique.
    We just need proper money / risk management. One must know when to trade and when not to. The biggest factor of your big draw downs is when you missed that major news.
    The default eurchf settings shared here already good as it is, you just know enough balance to cover your risk.
    Higher TF wont do much to eliminate bad trades. What you need is broker with low spread, what its slippage like and be alert with the big news that impacts on currency you're trading with.
    && You guys can actually make big profit on every major news like GDP, NFP, Employment Rate. Theres even an EA for it too but not all broker allows you to trade during big news. Trade safely guys :) and stay safe from Covid.

    P/S : I saw someone asked about new Orion, is this the one?
    It does have identical name and scalping function but the settings is all different.

    Oof! If you haven't already, kindly add these into your MT4
    Option > Expert Advisors > WebRequest URL :

    This should avoid Orion Scalper EA from trading before the big news and start again like an hour after big news ended.
    I'm not sure but I'm guessing 30 mins before big news, it should stop Orion from opening new trades though it wont close your current open trades. But this should save you from big drawdown.

    Previous settings totally different like you said.. most of the 0 values in this settings had figures in the old one.. still testing though, as I'm new to EAs, but would like to know if this new setting is to be adjusted or left as is..

    Could anyone assist with this?

    Trades currently in profit.. dont know if there are measures to tp or trail.. someone please check this out.. if theres need to adjust the set file. Referring to the new orion file that was shared by the kind "hzzy".

    I tried it with GBPUSD in 5M and between March 4 and 5 it has a fall, can someone explain to me why?

    i have tested Ea scalper orion but in the test it was good. but when i put it to live i lost all. can any one tell me why this happend and any specific setting ot apply. i used a free version for testing.

    Stop waste time with this EA, this can earn money in short time but about long time, it will burn your account.

    The best setup I found among dozens of backtests I did was this:
    Use in EURCHF m15
    Adjust only the Lot
    account $ 100,000 = 1.00 lot
    account $ 10,000 = 0.10 lot
    account $ 1,000 = 0.01 lot
    Below $ 1000 on cent accounts only.
    Do backtests with period in Jun / 2020 and you will see how well it is doing.
