to recap for future reference, today was a win with emerald, 2% win taken out in profit. It was a sell during news

 

how on earth did you manage 2% gain? here is about 0.985% flat...

 

Bro was also asking , how many trades emarald take in a day ,...?
If it close in profits does it take another trade...?

 

my default risk was 2%, emerald moves SL to 1R profit after the trade reaches 1:2 RR in profit. it then came and took me out, resulting in 2% gain

check your risk maybe

1 trade, even if its profit i think it only takes one trade

You mean we increase the risk operations to 4%...?

 

on a separate test, this current test will carry on as normal. but maybe from next week i will run another test alongside to see if 4% risk is viable for prop firm passing

 

Yeah will that too but it might be risky because if two or threeconsecutive Loss you might hit the daily drawdown or max drawdown

If your risk amount is higher than your max daily risk then yes it will only take 1 trade.

You don't necessarily have to, but that's what we do. We just don't want to pay swaps, and it allows for a new opportunity the next day. Besides that we don't interfere with it at all

i leave the ea on as it is, in the settings i set the time for NY session start, and the end is 5 hours after. For ftmo that's 15:00-20:00
